Tej is our extraordinary Head Chef, and the vision behind The Amore. With 14 years in the industry, he discovered a deep connection to Italian food while honing his talent in kitchens across Europe and New Zealand.
He launched The Amore in 2021 with the goal of sharing the love and craft inherent in Italian cuisine to as many people as he could.
Tej has 3 kids at home who keep him busy when he’s not in the kitchen, and he loves to roll out the welcome mat for families like his.
A proud mum of three, she brings that same love, care and nurturing energy into the restaurant every single day. For her, Amore is not just a business, it is family. With a strong background in customer service and a genuine passion for people, Taran believes hospitality should always feel personal. Her natural warmth turns our intimate space into somewhere you instantly feel at home.
She loves greeting new faces, remembering the familiar ones and making sure every table leaves happy and well fed. Her heart is in every smile, every conversation and every little detail that makes dining with us special.
